Steering
The urban plan for the Gare du Midi area has been initiated by the Brussels-Capital Region. Its development is based on a collaborative method involving all stakeholders (SNCB-NMBS, the Municipalities, etc.).
Project ownership
The urban plan is coordinated jointly by three regional bodies acting as project owners:
- The Urban Development Agency of the Brussels-Capital Region (ADT-ATO), acting on behalf of the other parties
- Brussels Urban Development – Research and Planning Department
- Brussels Mobility – Strategy Department

Project management
The task of designing the urban plan and assisting with its implementation has been entrusted to a multidisciplinary team officially represented by l’AUC. The team combines the various competencies needed to design and monitor the plan:
